We’re proud to ship fresh Smog City beer directly to your doorstep, as long as that doorstep is in California.

Due to current alcohol shipping laws, we are only licensed to ship beer within the state of California. Below you’ll find all the details on how it works, what to expect, and what happens if your order doesn’t meet the requirements.

California Beer Shipping Policy

  • Beer orders ship to California addresses only.

  • We use GLS (General Logistics Systems) for reliable, temperature-conscious ground shipping.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot ship beer to PO Boxes or out-of-state addresses at this time.

Where We Ship

  • Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days of being placed.

  • GLS delivers Monday through Friday.

  • You’ll receive tracking information via email as soon as your order ships.

  • Delivery times vary based on your location, but most CA orders arrive within 1–2 business days after shipping.

Fulfillment & Delivery

  • An adult 21+ must be present to receive and sign for your beer shipment.

  • GLS drivers will verify age at the door. Valid government-issued ID required.

  • If no one is available to sign, GLS will attempt redelivery. Multiple missed delivery attempts may result in the package being returned to us.

  • If an order is placed with a shipping address outside of California, it will be automatically canceled and fully refunded.

  • We'll send you a confirmation of the cancellation, and if you’d still like to support us, we’d love to recommend some merch or gear that we can ship your way.

What Happens If You Place an Out-of-State Order

  • While beer stays in California, merchandise, gift items, and non-alcohol products are available to ship nationwide.

  • You can mix beer and merch in one order, but only if the shipping address is within California.
