After years of pouring beers at Steelcraft, Smog City Brewing has opened Smog City Heights, our Long Beach taproom and kitchen on Wardlow Ave. The new space brings the same community-driven spirit and award-winning craft beer, now with a full taproom experience, a diverse selection of fresh beer on draft, and a kitchen designed to pair with it. Smog City Heights is built as a place to gather, offering everything from crisp lagers and hop-forward IPAs to rotating seasonal releases in a lively, welcoming setting.

"NAME THAT BEER" BRACKET TOURNAMENT
Sunday, March 1st–Monday, April 6th
We invite our guests to submit their most fun and creative names for a future pilot brew by March 15th aka Selection Sunday. The top 8 names from each taproom will then go head-to-head in a bracket-style tournament, with winners voted on by guests to see who advances to the next round, with a champion being crowned on Monday, April 6th.

1ST ANNUAL GREAT BIXBY KNOLLS EASTER KEG HUNT

This isn’t your kid’s egg hunt! Teams of thirsty adults will compete to solve clues, complete bar games, and find one of four hidden kegs hidden throughout Bixby Knolls, all while supporting local businesses and winning fun prizes. Meet the Claremont Craft Ales Brewmaster
Friday, February 27th | 5:30–7:30pm
Claremont Craft Ales owner and brewmaster Simon Brown will be in the house to meet with our customers, discuss the CCA residency at our Heights taproom, share the passion behind Claremont’s approach to brewing, and to raise a glass and celebrate great beer with our local community.
It’s rare enough to get fresh pours of Claremont Craft Ales on this side of Los Angeles County, let alone meet the man who made it all happen and who we are lucky enough to call a dear friend, so we are beyond excited to welcome him to our newest Smog City outpost.
