CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, Salary + Bonus (Exempt)

ROLE SUMMARY
The Sales Representative is responsible for growing Smog City’s presence and volume across on- and off-premise accounts within their territory. This role focuses on sustainable growth, relationship-building, distributor collaboration, and brand execution in the market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Grow distribution and sales volume across assigned territories on- and off-premise accounts (including broad market & chains)
Manage relationships, follow ups and sales needs on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
Perform self-distro deliveries, including loading, delivery, and payment collection
Balance time effectively between sales (account visits), deliveries, events, and follow ups
Complete weekly recap reports and maintain timely follow-up communication
Track activity using CRM tools for calls, planning, and follow-ups
Execute an average of 2 retail-focused events per month / 6 per quarter to educate consumers (including but not limited to: festivals, events, and company activations as needed)
Partner with wholesalers to drive brand growth and market execution
Increase account velocity through displays, POS, resets, education, sampling, and promotions
Communicate cross-functionally with internal & distribution teams
Manage expenses & a monthly budget responsibly
Represent and embody Smog City’s brand, culture, and values
QUALIFICATIONS
1–3 years of sales experience (beverage industry preferred)
Strong communication skills (in-person, phone, email, messaging platforms)
Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Budget management experience
Craft beer and draft system knowledge preferred
Industry relationships a plus
Clean driving record and reliable vehicle required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in tight or confined spaces
Stand, walk, crouch, and sit for extended periods
Lift 50 lbs regularly and maneuver kegs up to 165 lbs
